OK - vielleicht nerve ich Euch ja. 
Aber es gibt Neuigkeiten zum Thema.
Bei einer Support-Anfrage an die Firma Gretagmacbeth bekan ich folgende Anleitung:
"First thing to Check is has both Color Profiles been set into the Video Device Driver.
Right click on your desktop and click on in Properties to open the Display Properties Window.
There are tabs across the top of the Display Properties windows click on settings.
You will see both your displays in the settings tab. You need to check both of their settings. So first click on the Identify button to identify which display is 1 and which is 2. Then highlight display 1 Icon and click on the Advanced button. This will open the Multiple Monitors window for display 1. Click On the Color Management tab and check that the right color profile is associated and is set as its default color profile. Then Click OK. Next Highlight Display 2 Icon click Advanced button and check that the right color profile has been assigned and set as its default color profile. Some Device Drivers will only support one color profile to be set so check display 1 settings a second time. If that is what you find happening on your system set in the profile you want for the display your going to display your image on while editing.
Any LUT loader you have installed on your machine like Adobe Gamma Loader or you Color Calibrators loader needs to be stopped from automatically starting when the system boots. Normally in Startup Folder (may be in "All Users" startup folder) or in the Registry Run section.
Next you need to have the Microsoft Color Application Load the Luts when the system starts. There are several way you can do that schedule it or start it from the start up folder. The easiest is to create a shortcut for it in the "All User" startup folder. Give the short cut a name like"LoadVideoCardColorLUT" the target should be ""C:\Program Files\Pro Imaging Powertoys\Microsoft Color Control Panel Applet for Windows XP\WinColor.exe" /L" make sure the "/L" load pramater is there. The start in should be ""C:\Program Files\Pro Imaging Powertoys\Microsoft Color Control Panel Applet for Windows XP"" That is if you installed it in the default location."
Dies überschneidet sich größtenteils mit den Tipps von Reiner. Neu für mich sind die Angaben zu den Anführungsstrichen im Autostart-Link.
